Hmm. I think I would rather never see them again. I would miss them—but I spent the rest of my life only with them, and could see no one else, I think I would begin to hate them, and I would rather miss someone than hate them.

...I thought you would pick that. You said it like being with someone that long would be a trap.

Have you ever spent so much time around someone that you started to hate them?

No—I meant more like, trapped on an island, or in a cabin in the woods, so they were the only person you saw. I have never hated anyone because I have always been able to go talk to someone else for a while.

But I suppose the phrasing was biased. And vague. You are observant.

Oh. [ Hm. ] If I started to hate them, I would go to the other side of the island until I didn't anymore.

Would you prefer it if you were injured or your feelings were hurt?

[ He hums for a moment before deciding. ]

Probably my feelings. I can cheer myself up faster than I can heal a wound. What about you?

[ The real danger of this game, it seems is the fact that any question asked will inevitably turn back on the asker. She'll have to remember this. ]

I heal quickly. But I would survive either option.

I would rather be injured.

I would prefer neither. But if I had to pick one, I would pick singing. Dancing would make other things difficult.

You should choose singing, too.

Are you calling me a good singer or a bad dancer?
